Consistent with CSU Global’s Copyright Policy, students are responsible for complying with copyright law, including reproduction and distribution or copyrighted work and the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, in addition to exercising good faith actions when applying fair use principles to the completion of their assignments and projects.Copyright infringement is the act of exercising, without permission or legal authority, one or more of the exclusive rights granted to the copyright owner under section 106 of the Copyright Act. Copyright law provides authors of works the right to be compensated when others use those works in certain ways.
